The Charity
 
  The charity, click here to see who we are, is based in Oxford and has a board of 9 trustees. The board meets 4 times a year. It works closely with the management staff responsible for the day to day running of the charity and the Steering Group.

It is responsible for the development and publication of all the data onto the www.dipex.org website, publicity, marketing, developing partnerships with new organisations as well as fund raising and daily management of the charity.

The charity raises funds from a variety of sources, including other charities, trusts and foundations, the NHS and private donations. DIPEx has an ethical funding policy and will not allow commercial advertising on the site. The director of the charity sits on the Steering Group committee.
 
  Steering Group
 
  The steering group, click here to see who we are, which meets regularly every month, is responsible for long and short term strategic planning of DIPEx. This includes decisions on methodology, future projects, collaborations, dissemination and possible grant applications. Members of the steering group share responsibility for supervision of and collaboration with the researchers and one or more members of the group sits on the advisory panel for each illness or condition we cover.
